For the 2025–2027 tenure, the Bagmati Pradesh – Chitwan Branch of the Society of Anesthesiologists of Nepal (SAN) has constituted a new Executive Committee to provide strategic leadership and direction for the branch's academic, professional, and organizational endeavors. The committee has been entrusted with the responsibility of advancing the objectives of SAN within the province while fostering excellence in anesthesiology, critical care, pain medicine, perioperative medicine, and related disciplines.

The newly formed Executive Committee is committed to promoting a vibrant academic environment by organizing regular Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs, scientific meetings, workshops, simulation-based training, and conferences that facilitate lifelong learning and professional development. The committee will actively encourage research, innovation, and evidence-based clinical practice, while creating opportunities for collaboration among anesthesiologists, trainees, and allied healthcare professionals. Through these initiatives, the branch aims to strengthen clinical competency, promote academic excellence, and contribute to improving the quality and safety of perioperative and critical care services.

In addition to its academic mission, the Executive Committee will focus on strengthening professional unity and fostering active engagement among members throughout the Chitwan region and the wider Bagmati Province. The committee will work closely with the SAN Central Executive Committee and other provincial branches to implement national programs, participate in policy discussions, advocate for the interests of anesthesiologists, and support initiatives that enhance patient safety, quality improvement, and ethical clinical practice. Special emphasis will also be placed on mentoring young anesthesiologists, encouraging leadership development, and promoting collaborative partnerships with national and international professional organizations.
